Had a most enjoyable day at West Barns Inn" East Lothian in July 2018 had my daughter with me and she had a rare time in the beer garden with all the other kids. And the live music made the day. The staff were lovely and friendly, couldn't fault it.
The name and owners have changed its now No.5 Duke Street. Beer well kept. Food great especially the cheesecake. Lunch specials great value Monday to Thursday. Welcomed us like long lost family and made us feel right at home.Cringed a bit when the live music set up on Saturday night but it turned out better than alright and we stayed longer than we planned and made an evening of it. No problems going back if we are staying here again.
We had a lovely meal homemade steak pie and chicken balnoral both with fresh vegetables and new potatoes great portions unfortunately we couldn't manage a desert. Served by the lovely friendly owner . Will definitely be back next time we visit Dunbar.
