Came here for lunch. Had been interested in popping in for some time.Massively disappointed.The high chairs obviously hadn't been cleaned in some time. The only way to get the old encrusted food off was either by wire brush or sandpaper.I ordered the wiltshire ham and egg dish. When it arrived it was basic. 2 slices of cold ham which had clearly come straight from the fridge, 2 eggs, which by the time I got to the second one was cold thanks to sitting on the cold ham, and chips. No garnish.My wife had a burger which was standard issue and my daughter the fish finger burger thing.The only reason I've given this place 2 stars was due to the service - which was quick, efficient and friendly. That said, we won't be back.
Great place. Very relaxed atmosphere and nice food. Also not overly expensive.
Overall a good experience with value for money food in a nice, friendly setting. What was lacking this morning was quality control. At the continental buffet was a bowl of fruit with 1 bunch of grapes. Some were visibly rotten, and others were rinkled and changing colour.
Went today for lunch with my grandson. Food was good and staff very friendly. Children are made yo feel welcome and have a nice safe play area will definitely be back.
Not sure what's happened here. They seem to have partially switched to a fast food menu, which is probably good value. Staff need more training and need to be more proactive and be allowed to make decisions when things aren't quite right.
