I have never needed to stay in a b&b in Dunbar as l always had a relative to stay with, who sadly passed away, so needed somewhere near the station, and close to the high street.It's been a tough couple of days, but have really enjoyed my stay, its been relaxing, fabulous breakfast.THE MAC AND ARTIt's good to see places like this giving artists the opportunity to show their art work.There are a few local artists showing their work on the stairs and in the corridor.Generally staff have been accommodating, helpful and attentive. It's a lovely old building, l had relatives who married here in 1955, so it's nice to have that connection.
The staff were absolutely delightful - cheerful, friendly. Bar food is excellent - try the Highlander burger, you won't be disappointed. Copious selection of different gins. Would certainly recommend and visit again.
This a very good hotel. Friendly, helpful staff, great food. Stayed for 3 nights and was very happy with everything.
Good place for a meal and a beer freindly staff. This place been around for years... Enjoyable enough. Give it a 9/10dont get much better than that
Nice people, good food, a little shabby, needs done updating but I understand it's so expensive on a listed building. Close to town centre and beach an easy walk.
