A great place to see wildlife. The main birds are ducks, gulls and waders.The field's beside the quarry are very good for Shiort eared Owl most winters. Rare birds have also been seen here as well. Fox and Roe deer can be seen around the quarry. There is a small car park from the road that goes to Barns Ness that leads to a information board and a small screen that gives good views over the quarry.
