Good food and lots of lovely cakes. Definitely arrive early or late for lunch on busy days as otherwise (like us) you might find yourself sitting in the rather chilly courtyard area. Obviously during the summer the courtyard will be a lovely suntrap and a delight but in the winter it is a bit chilly! Mainly serves sandwiches and soup but the flavours are interesting which is good.
Fantastic place for coffee and a homemade scone, cakes etc. or just a cuppa to soak in the amazing atmosphere of the place. Staff can't be more helpful only adding to the pleasure of the place. First visit today with my wife, look forward to many more in the future.

Found this wee gem accidentally. It was so picturesque that I felt we had to go over for a cuppa and my daughter and I sat outside with my her toddler. There was a toddler sized picnic table with toys and books which kept children happy and occupied. People could sit also sit with their well behaved dogs (dog water bowls were available). All in all a happy find.
