As we stay in Haddington and do not have access to a car to get to Asda we have to get the bus, fair enough, but on visiting the store yesterday 16/12/18 and after doing a considerable amount of shopping we approached the wide aisle checkout and proceeded to offload our shopping onto the belt, now we had two trolleys of goods and aided by both our son and daughter we proceeded to pack our purchases as fast as we could as other customers were awaiting their turn even though there were plenty of empty checkouts in the store,in any case our main point was concerning the checkout woman, usually they have a smile for you or a greeting this one sat there scowling the whole time it looked an effort for her to be scanning the items at all,now we can understand that perhaps she has had a busy day but a friendly greeting or a smile doesn't go wrong, but this woman was off putting certainly not a good advert for Asda, even our son and daughter made comment about her,now the time we were at the checkout was 18.36pm.So managers or team leaders I suggest a talk with your staff concerning this incident.

Very cheerful staff. Its an Asda. The selection isnt as good as more expensive supermarkets, but it does its job and does it well.

Good verity of product. Good prices. Count dooku looking security.

NO CHAMPAGNE since Christmas. I have been in to the Dunbar store for champagne and there is none. I enquired as to the reason and no-one could explain. Asda advertise 23 different champagnes so why aren't there any in Dunbar? Do they think people in Dunbar don't drink it? I ended up going to Aldi for the 6 bottles I required, you missed out on almost a 100 worth of business. Not cool.

Some folk and their reviews? It's an Asda in a small town, the staff seem cheery and helpful and it sells food, clothes, car stuff etc all the things you'd expect from a supermarket. If you want more then get in your car and drive into the capital where there are plenty of shops to satisfy your whims - It's an Asda in a small town not the Metro Centre
